October 19, 2009 - The Pinecrest Premier U14 boys blue team, coached by Mr. Larry Allen and Evan Contorakes participated in the 8th Annual Bazooka Soccer Classic this past weekend, October 17th-18th, in Sanford Florida.  On Saturday, they came out of the blocks a bit slow and were handed an early tournament loss against Central Florida United by the score of 2-1.  The boys, however, would not be deterred.  Coach Allen would rally his troops, coming back strong against Space Coast United, posting a 2-0 victory.  When Sunday came around, they had their sights on the prize, they came out on fire against Creeks Clash, scoring an impressive 13-0 victory.  The table was set for a rematch with Central Florida United. The  boys exacted revenge winning their final match against CFU by the score of 3-2 and in the process, capturing the championship.  Congratulations to the boys on bringing home the cup!
