Homestead Rec Program

Pinecrest's Recreational Soccer Program is designed to teach soccer skills to young children in an innovative, non-competitive and totally fun environment.

We’re excited and thrilled to announce Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club will be coming to Homestead for the FALL 2025 “REC” Soccer Season.

FALL REGISTRATION

DUE DATE:
Early registration Opens April 26th, 2025. Registration Closes August 1st, 2025. (Note: Credit Card must be provided in order to register & secure a spot and/or a team, credit cards will only be processed and charged when the practices/season actually kicks off).

PRACTICE:
Practices to start on August 28th, 2025 at Keys Gate Charter Highschool. 
Tuesdays and Thursday 5PM-6PM


GAMES:
Games to commence on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at Keys Gate Charter Highschool: 2325 SE 28th Ave, Homestead, FL 33035.

GAME TIMES:
9AM-10AM & 10AM-11AM

SEASON:
Season runs from August 28th through November 15th.

ADDITIONAL INFO

  • Practice and Game venues are held at Keys Gate Charter Highschool. 

  • ​Practices to take place on Tuesdays & Thursdays in 45-minute durations starting at 5:00 PM.   

  • Two (2) sessions per week minimum (1 practice and 1 game).

  • Balls, bag, cones & scrimmage vest supplied for team practice equipment.

  • Games will be played on Saturday mornings

  • Game uniforms and practice jerseys included each Fall season.

  •  Each team formed should have a parent volunteer as the designated coach; coaching voucher providing a “Free Registration” for coach’s son or daughter.

4v4 format (No players are allowed in the goal box when team is defending)

  • 40-minute games (4 x 10-minute quarters) with centrally controlled timekeeping

  •  50% Rule – All players on the roster must play at least 50% of the game time

  • Midfield build out line on all Goal Kicks

  • Kick-ins for U5 and U6 and Throw-ins for U7 and above

  • Game times: Saturdays at 09:00AM and 10:00AM

  • Crossover games are possible, whereby teams can play vs an older age team, hence U5 vs U6 games can be scheduled

  • League operates without keeping any records, scores, results or standings

  • Maximum of 8 players which allows for 50% rule to be easily achieved

  • One parent volunteer to coach or assist with coaching duties at practices and games

  • One Team Representative (manager/liaison) to create group/team chat for weekly communications from directors

  • Siblings can participate on same team up to 2-year age difference maximum, subject to parents and directors’ approval

  • Practice and Game venues may include Palmetto Elementary-Middle School, Pinecrest Community Center, and/or other facilities approved and provided by PPSC and/or VOP.

  • ​Practices are to take place once or twice per week depending on coaches’ availability between Monday and Thursday in 1 hour durations. There are only three time slots available: 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30PM.  

  • Two (2) sessions per week minimum (1 practice and 1 game).
